Finally, a purpose for AI I can actually get behind!
Indecisive viewers rejoice! An AI tool has just been released that matches the mood you’re feeling to a movie on a streaming service. How much time have you lost doom scrolling through Netflix, then Binge, then Amazon, then back to Netflix, before finally landing on YouTube? Only to discover your Menulog’d dumplings are now stone cold and the video you did choose wasn’t even what you really felt like.
Well this new AI tool will end all of that. YScenes (which stands for Your Scenes) is as simple as describing your mood or what you feel like, set a release window for when the film came out then hit search!

For example, I typed in “something action packed with a heartfelt story that will make me cry.” released anytime between 1970-2025 and what the AI presented me was: Almost Famous, Castaway, and Gladiator. Finally, this is what AI should be used for. The only down side is isn’t free. The software requires a $5USD monthly fee or a $45USD annual fee.

The software was created by Teni Owojori, a Computer Science student at the University of North Texas. The creator revealed that this issue often plagued himself and his friends and he wishes for this to be a problem of the past!
