A case involving an alleged violent rape at Durras late last year has been delayed until July because the accused lawyer is on holidays.

Beaudi Vella from Surfside is currently on conditional bail living with his mum in Central West NSW after being charged with several offences.

They include aggravated sexual assault depriving liberty, armed robbery and taking a person with intent to commit a serious offence.

Police allege Vella sexually assaulted a woman at knifepoint on a walking track in Murramarang National Park on November 25.

One of Vella’s bail conditions is he is not allowed within 200 kilometres of Batemans Bay unless attending court.

The case has been adjourned for a case conference update on July 13.
