The owner of a large Far South Coast trade business, convicted late year on several drug driving charges, stalking and sending almost 40 threatening text messages, has landed back in court.
50-year-old Shannon Stokes, who runs Bay Coast Electrical, is facing two fresh driving while disqualified charges after been banned from getting behind the wheel on several occasions in recent years.
Stokes told Batemans Bay Local Court yesterday he is heading off to a rehab farm in Victoria for three to six months later this week.
When asked the name of the facility he told Magistrate Doug Dick he didn’t know but had the phone number at home.
The case has been adjourned for three weeks.
