Four young men from Canberra and Queanbeyan are set to have their appeal over jail sentences for a vicious assault while holiday in Batemans Bay heard next week.
Mitchel Barnes, Conor Thurgood, Francesco Tine and Jamie Ward were released on bail after being sentenced to 18 months each in Batemans Bay Local Court over the attack which occurred in June last year.
The Telegraph reports the court was told the assault on Beach Road was so severe it left one of the two victims toothless and vomiting blood.

The appeal has been set down for two days in Nowra District Court.
