A man accused of breaking into a home while a woman and her children were asleep and stayed until the next morning has been released on bail.
Shane Carriage fronted Batemans Bay Local Court yesterday via videolink from South Coast Correctional Centre.
Police prosecutor Corey Ware opposed the application citing concerns Carriage would commit further crimes if released, place the victim at risk and could attempt to interfere with a witness.

But Judge Doug Dick agreed to release him on a number of strict conditions including he live with his mum in Nowra, report to police three times a week and a daily curfew.
