A man has been refused bail after a court has been told details in the case against a man, accused of a violent rape at South Durras, are still to be confirmed.
Beaudi Vella from Surfside is facing multiple charges including aggravated sexual assault depriving liberty, armed robbery and taking a person with intent to commit a serious offence.
The 27-year old is accused of perpetrating the attack on a woman at Murramarang National Park’s South Coast Walking Track on November 25 last year.

Batemans Bay Local Court has been told despite an order being made by the court on December 12 last year, police and the DPP are still to provide the brief of evidence to Vella’s lawyer Brett Ford.
The case will return to court on March 2.
