Disney and Pixar have come to the table with their latest teaser trailer for the animated spinoff story Lightyear.
This is the origin story of the Toy Story character Buzz Lightyear.
After watching the teaser, it feels like there are Star Wars vibes sprinkled throughout, with action, comedy, and drama all rolled into one.
The premise of the story is that Buzz is a very young and confident test pilot.
Showing how he eventually became the Buzz Lightyear action figure from the Toy Story movies.
Chris Evans is the voice behind Buzz this time around, filling the role from Tim Allen.
The only sneak peek at Buzz’s voice is at the very end. So they are keeping this well under wraps.
It does sound like (even from that one word) that Chris Evans is a great fit for Buzz!
Lightyear shoots onto screens on June 17th, 2022.
