Batemans Bay has recorded an upset win over Eastlake in the AFL Canberra Premier Women’s First Grade Competition.
The sixth placed Seahawks ladies defeated the fourth placed Demons 7.4.46 to 5.4.34.
Finn Bailie kicked three goals for the Bay.

The club’s Under 18 women’s outfit also racked up a win against Eastlake but it came down to the wire 8.8.56 to 7.8.50.
Meanwhile a big finish to the Canberra Suburban Rugby Union season for the Batemans Bay women’s team.
The Boars saved their best performance of the year against Uni Norths at Hanging Rock Oval on Saturday afternoon.
In front of an enthusiastic home crowd, they thrashed the Owls 46-15. Alexa Warwick scored 3 tries and kicked 3 conversions.
