While the Bay Tigers have just confirmed they will field teams in the Women’s Tackle and Ladies League Tag competitions with strong numbers at pre-season training in recent weeks, they said there is still room for more players no matter their level of experience.

“Everything is looking perfect. Everyone’s coming down to training putting in the hard work and effort,” Miss Breust said.

“We would love some new girls to join as well. We would love to have some extra players because you never know what’s going to happen with things like injuries and events people will have on like weddings during the season,” she said.

“Currently we’re training Tuesday at 6pm at MacKay Park but have to be here by 5:45 and on Fridays at 5:30. Any ladies interested in joining us can just come down.”
