A woman has yelled abuse at a local magistrate after he refused to grant bail to a man who’s been on remand for since March.

49-year-old Bradley Snapper Carriage was appearing via video from South Coast Correctional Centre at Nowra on a raft of charges from both police and the DPP including domestic violence and robbery related offences.

His lawyer Adam Sumbak told Batemans Bay Local Court his client had already been in custody for 5 months and 11 days with the Crown still yet to certify his charges.

The DPP and police both argued releasing Carriage would be a risk to the community given his extremely long criminal history over 50 pages long.

Magistrate Doug Dick agreed and denied bail.

A woman in the public gallery then yelled out… “You’ll be right Snapper. Don’t worry we’ll get a new judge. F*** you c*** s****r!”
