Community consultation on a proposed new housing development at South Bega has been extended.
Bega Valley Shire Council is seeking feedback on a plan to rezone 279 hectares of land.
Under the plan, 2200 homes could be built over three new suburbs.

Council General Manager Anthony McMahon said locals now have until November 16 to submit feedback.
