A Narooma man has reportedly been jailed for three years after admitting to the car-jacking of a pizza delivery driver in Bega.
Matthew John Scott faced Bega Local Court charged with numerous offences related to the incident on March 25 this year.
The court heard the 37-year-old had stolen a screwdriver from Coles Supermarket then used it to threaten the worker and driver off with the car which later caught alight near Mogo.
Bega District News reports Scott also pleaded guilty to a range of other charges relating to thefts and break and enters in Narooma.
He’s been set a non-parole period of 18-months, fined $800 and ordered to pay over $4000 in compensation.
