A man reported missing from the Queanbeyan–Palerang local government area has been found safe.
The 33-year-old man failed to return home to Googong near the ACT on Saturday (November 19) and was reported missing around 9pm, believed to have travelled to Mount Wandera out the back of Mogo on the South Coast.
When he could not be contacted, officers attached to the Monaro Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
Following those inquiries, he was located safe and well in Moruya a short on Sunday night (November 20).
Police would like to thank the community for assisting with the appeal.
