The 21-year-old mechanic is then alleged to have hoofed it on foot a short distance with a front seat passenger before being captured.

A second passenger was discovered lying unrestrained on a mattress in the back of the red Subaru Forester with his hands in the air.

His lawyer told the court…her client has since sold the red Subaru Forester he was driving at the time and has to rely on his mum and dad to drive him to work.

Evans has also been ordered to perform 100 hours community service work, lost his licence for 18 months and fine $2200.
