A case against a man charged in connection to the death of his young son south of Eden has been mentioned for the first time in court.
The six-year-old was killed a a crash between a LDV ute and tipper truck at Nullica in May last year.
The man, who we’ve chosen not to name to protect the identity of his children, and two daughters aged two and eight were seriously injured in the smash and airlifted to hospital.

He’s facing five charges including dangerous driving occasioning death.
The matter has been adjourned to Bega Local Court in late April after a brief mention in Eden.
