Inclement weather has forced rescuers to abandon using a helicopter to retrieve a man badly injured south of Eden yesterday.
The 65-year-old was amongst a group of bushwalkers when he fell on rocks approximately 1.5 km’s north of Pulpit Rock Car Park at Green Cape.
Seven local SES members were called to help police and ambulance paramedics carrying the man out to safety.

He was taken to hospital with two dislocated knees.
