Farmers across Eden-Monaro are eligible for grant funding to ensure sustainable agriculture.
Federal Government grants between $10,000 and $100,000 are available for individual farmers, along with farming, community, and Indigenous groups to lead diverse projects – from better natural resource management, to reducing chemical use, and improving soil health.
Delivered through the $302 million Climate-Smart Agriculture Program, grants will support farmers respond to climate change and to become more sustainable into the future.

The Climate-Smart Agriculture Program includes a variety of investment streams to target agricultural sustainability, productivity, and competitiveness.
Member for Eden-Monaro, Kristy McBain, said every farm had its own challenges and opportunities, which is why this program will help farmers innovate and harness a range of technologies.
“Farmers across Eden-Monaro work incredibly hard to produce a range of products and produce that we all love, which is why it’s important we support them to improve their productivity and profitability,” Ms McBain said.
