Far South Coast woman fighting for life after QLD road rage incident

Queensland Police say it’s lucky eight people, including two women from the Far South Coast, weren’t killed in a road rage incident on the state’s Sunshine Coast on the weekend.

The 24-year-old’s were allegedly intentionally run into by a Toyota Yaris at Maroochydore on Saturday night.

It followed a minor disagreement with some men, who they were standing near, on a footpath.

One of them Lily Griffiths, who moved up there from Batemans Bay last year, escaped serious injury while the other unnamed woman, who police say now lives in Sydney, is fighting for life in a Brisbane hospital.

Family rushed up to Queensland on Sunday to be by their sides.

Brazilian national Guilherme Dal Bo has been charged with eight counts of attempted murder.

Dal Bo faced court yesterday and was refused bail.
