The other shooter – a 24-year-old man – suffered critical injuries and was taken to hospital under police guard.

Those who died are yet to be formally identified; however, police believe their ages range between 10 and 87-years-old.

Five people remain in critical conditions with the others remaining in serious and stable conditions including two police officers.

In a post to his social media accounts, Dr Holland said ‘May God comfort the families of those killed and injured in the evil crime against humanity at Bondi Beach.’

He went on to say his thoughts and thanks are with the police and health responders, as well as the witnesses who showed truly remarkable courage and humanity.

Eden-Monaro MP Kristy McBain said her thoughts are with those impacted by the Bondi Massacre and their loved ones.

The Federal Government Minister has published a brief statement overnight condemning the actions of those responsible.

She says the attack in Bondi is deeply distressing for all Australians, and especially for our Jewish community.

Mrs McBain said we stand with you tonight and every night.
