Eurobodalla Shire residents are being warned to put away some extra money to pay for increased costs of living from July.
The council is proposing to increase general rates by 4.1 percent for next financial year.
On top of this other charges for services including water and sewer will rise by between 2.2 and 4.4 percent as well.

Public comment is being sought until May 27.
