An Eden Visitor Information Centre spokesperson said they’ve always known Eden has that something special.
“We’ve always known it but now other people are starting to notice,” the spokesperson said.
“The team at Eden Tourism Inc. would like to thank all those that voted in the public vote, as well as Sapphire Coast Destination Marketing and the local businesses and organisations that assisted in putting together our submission for Eden into these awards.
“We hope our Eden community are as proud of this as we are.”
Meanwhile, Eden has had another win recently, with Acorn Project Advisory and Core Asset Development recognised for its work on Eden’s Hotel Australasia with a ‘Highly Commended’ in the Conservation–Built Heritage category at the National Trust of Australia 2023 Heritage Awards for their work on the Hotel.
An Acorn Project Advisory spokesperson said “It has been a privilege to provide project management services to this stunning and thoughtful restoration of a significant heritage building with a rich local history in the town of Eden on the Sapphire Coast.”
