Up to 100,000 visitors are expected to flock to Eden and the wider Sapphire Coast in the next six months.
The boost coming from over 30 cruise ships scheduled to dock in the local port.
Cruise Eden Manager Debbie Mears says this will provide a massive financial boost.

“About 68,000 passengers if all the ships are at capacity and 29,000 crew has first an economic impact in that people gain shifts at employment and shops are busy,” she said.
“Passengers also take home wonderful memories of Eden and hopefully return again.”
A Community Information Session will be conducted at 5:30 this afternoon at the Eden Welcome Centre.
