Speakers from Southern NSW Local Health District, Health Infrastructure and NSW Ambulance are putting on a community meeting about the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital and Batemans Bay Community Health in Batemans Bay this evening.
General Manager for the Coastal Network for Southern, Brad Scotcher, told East Coast Radio, Southern NSW LHD are encouraging community members to get along and hear the latest information about health service planning and delivery in the Eurobodalla.
“It’s going to be an update on the progress we’re making towards the Eurobodalla Regional Hospital development in particular and what that’s going to look like in the future and how our services are going to develop across health to support the needs of people across the Eurobodalla region,” Mr Scotcher said.
“We’re also going to have a question and answer session throughout the evening, for anyone who has questions on the night, and people can also ask questions anonymously if they don’t feel comfortable to get get up and speak into the microphone, and we’ll be able to follow up on anything that’s asked at a later date.”
Southern NSW LHD Chief Executive, Margaret Bennett, encouraged community members to attend the meeting to hear the latest information about health service planning and delivery in the Eurobodalla.
“Southern NSWLHD, Health Infrastructure and NSW Ambulance are working hard behind the scenes to ensure that every member of the Eurobodalla community has access to the best health care now, and into the future,” Ms Bennett said.
“We are looking forward to sharing updates and answering questions from attendees.”.
The meeting will be held from 5.00pm to 6.30pm today (Tuesday January 16) at the Auditorium, Batemans Bay Soldiers Club, 6 Beach Road, Batemans Bay. All welcome. No registration or RSVP required.
