The lawyer for a Mogo man said her client “is a very young 18 and has learnt his lesson after being caught doing burnouts.”
Beau Sims pleaded guilty to driving dangerously and prolonged loss of traction.
Solicitor Lisa Stone told Batemans Bay Local Court “Their brains are not fully formed at that age. He just lost his mind.”

Magistrate Doug Dick warned Sims he would forfeit his vehicle to the state if caught doing it again in the next five years.
He won’t be allowed though to drive again for large chunk of that time after having his licence suspended for the next two years.
Sims was also fined $2000.
