A body has been found during an extensive search for a missing Cooma man.
The body of a 56-year-old man, who was known to frequent areas on the Far South Coast, including Tathra Beach, was discovered in Bombala around 12:15pm on Sunday (June 16).
While the body is yet to be formally identified, it is believed to be that of a man who was reported missing from Cooma on the 10th of June.
When he was unable to be located or contacted, officers attached to Monaro Police District were notified and commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.
A NSW Polise Spokesperson said initial inquiries indicated there were no suspicious circumstances around the death and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
