For those who fancy a look behind the scenes of being a police officer, Batemans Bay Police Station is hosting an open day this weekend.
South Coast Police are reminding locals and visitors – Batemans Bay Police Station Open Day is happening between 10am and 3pm on Saturday (April 27).
The family-friendly event will showcase various NSW Police Units including the:
*Mounted Police
*Police Marine Area Command
*Traffic & Highway Patrol
*Police Rescue & Bomb Disposal
*Police Recruitment
There will be guided tours of the station and custody areas with a coffee van and BBQ available on the day
Entry is a gold coin donation.
The Police will also be holding a colouring-in competition for children aged 0-5, 6-10 and 11-14 with prizes.
“Please feel free to come into the Police Station anytime and obtain the colouring sheet,” A South Coast Police District spokesperson said.
