Senior Electrician – Operations and Minor Works

This is a permanent, full-time role within our Water and Sewerage team, based at Moruya Depot. As the Senior Electrician – Operations and Minor Works, you will be responsible for the maintenance, installation, upgrade and optimisation of Council’s electrical, control and instrumentation systems across the water and sewer network. You will undertake fault finding, asset inspections, condition assessments and system improvements, while contributing to maintenance programs, minor works delivery and technical advice. Working in a collaborative and safety-focused team, you will also mentor team members and help ensure the reliable operation of critical infrastructure. The starting salary for this position is $3,504.07 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation. Skills Required

You are a qualified and experienced Electrician with strong expertise in electrical, control and instrumentation systems, ideally within the water and sewer industry. You have experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), telemetry and communications systems, along with strong fault-finding, planning and asset management skills. A confident communicator and team player, you can provide technical guidance, support others to achieve quality outcomes and are committed to maintaining high standards of safety, professionalism and customer service.
