This position is a fixed term full-time role in the Community Development and Participation team until Friday 25 June 2027, based at The Bay Pavilions located in Batemans Bay. The successful candidate will be responsible for promoting Council’s creative arts programs, events and activities to ensure the community and visitors are well informed and engaged. The role coordinates and delivers publicity activities across multiple media channels, to grow audiences, increase attendance and support participation, while supporting the Council’s creative art objectives, accessibility and long-term sustainability. The starting salary for this position is $3,253.09 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation. You enjoy turning programs into compelling stories, working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders, and using data and insights to grow audiences and engagement. To be successful in this role your application will demonstrate: Qualifications in marketing, design, promotions or a related field, with demonstrated experience delivering publicity and promotional campaigns for programs, events or services. Proven experience developing and implementing audience development or marketing initiatives that increase attendance, participation and engagement. Strong capability promoting content across multiple channels, including digital platforms, social media, email marketing, print and traditional media. Experience working collaboratively with internal stakeholders to align promotion with program objectives, operational requirements and commercial priorities. Demonstrated ability to liaise with artists, hirers and external partners to source, develop and present high-quality promotional content. Experience monitoring, evaluating and reporting on campaign performance and audience data to inform continuous improvement. A strong commitment to accessibility, inclusive communication and compliance with organisational branding and values.
