We’re looking for someone who: • Has previous experience in groundskeeping, gardening, horticulture or flora maintenance. • Has a good knowledge of plant care, garden maintenance and landscaping. • Enjoys physical, outdoor work in a variety of weather conditions. • Is reliable, self-motivated and takes pride in their work. • Can work independently and as part of a team. • Has a practical, can-do attitude and strong attention to detail. • Holds a current driver’s licence (essential).
Skills Required
A horticulture qualification or experience with native plants would be an advantage. • Maintain gardens, lawns, landscaped areas and park grounds. • Identify, care for and maintain a variety of plants, shrubs, trees and native flora. • Perform weeding, pruning, mulching, planting and general garden maintenance. • Operate groundskeeping equipment and tools safely. • Keep pathways, communal areas and outdoor facilities clean, tidy and presentable. • Assist with general maintenance and grounds duties as required. • Help maintain a safe, attractive and enjoyable environment for guests and staff.
