Our bus depot is seeking a fully qualified diesel mechanic to join our workshop. The successful candidate will have a flexible, can-do attitude and will be able to demonstrate their talent for inspecting, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining our fleet. Responsibilities • Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on vehicles and equipment • Repair and/or replace defective parts (engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, etc.) as required • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and electrical diagnostics • Maintain accurate monitoring and reporting systems as required by Transport for NSW • Respond to breakdowns, service callouts and on-road incidents as required from time-to-time and perform emergency roadside repairs if required
