Timeless Tales – OPENING SHOW @ THE NEW TWYFORD THEATRE

The first musical performance in the new Twyford takes place this coming Sunday 13 April with a program entitled ‘Timeless Tales’ by the Sapphire Coast
Concert Band (SCCB).
As part of the opening of the new 200-seat theatre, the program has been designed to suit all ages. It includes pieces like Peter and the Wolf, Aesop’s Fables, tunes from Mary Poppins and more. Well-known local actor and musician Jamie Forbes will be guest narrator and conductor Stephen Fitzgerald will direct the show, as well as presenting a special percussion piece.

The SCCB is a local community band founded in 2002 to provide an opportunity for musicians of all ages to develop their musical skills across various musical
styles. Current membership ranges in age from 7 to 84, with musicians drawn from across the Shire.
This is a family event and all ages are welcome.
