Kamishibai Storytelling Workshop

Hi, I’m Georgina – also known as Noisy Nonna – and I love sharing stories using Kamishibai, a traditional Japanese way of storytelling with a beautifully decorated box and illustrated cards.

In this fun and creative workshop, I’ll share some of my favourite Kamishibai stories, then help you make your very own storytelling box. You’ll get to draw your own story cards and put on a mini performance with your creation!

It’s a great way to explore storytelling, get crafty, and have a lot of fun. You’ll take your box home so you can keep creating and performing new stories for friends and family.

All materials are provided, and everyone’s welcome — no experience needed!
