Grand Opening – War Museum Exhibition – 80 Years End of WW2

Member for Bega – Dr Michael Holland and Member for Gilmore – Fiona Phillips will officially re-open the refurbished Thelmore Pistol Club (World War Two Bunker) on behalf of the Minister for Sport NSW.  This wartime bunker has been extensive renovated after the 2023 floods.

This building will play host to the ‘End of War’ Exhibition, celebrating 80 years since the end of World War Two.  With re-enactors showing World War Two uniforms as “Living History”, displays and other attractions, this event is perfect for youngsters and anybody interested in Australian Military History.  

Don’t drive two hours to visit the Canberra War Memorial.  This special Exhibition is coming to Moruya at no cost ….. THE PRICE HAS ALREADY BEEN PAID by your grandparents generation who sacrificed the best years of their lives, for the freedom we enjoy today.
