Free Performing Arts Workshops for Young People
Eurobodalla and Bega Valley School Holiday Free Workshops!
Kindred Kollective is proud to announce its upcoming series of FREE creative workshops for young people aged 12 to 17 in the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley regions.
The workshops will provide local youth with skill-building opportunities in drama, music, dance, filmmaking, and more. With the guidance of industry professionals, participants will have the chance to gain hands-on experience and develop real-world skills in a range of creative fields.
The Kindred Kollective are excited to announce the following School Holiday workshops for the 12 – 17 year old cohort:
Drama Exploration & Performance
Facilitator: Alice Ansara
Location: Bodalla
Dates: 23 – 24 April
Dive into the world of drama with this hands-on workshop where participants will explore performance techniques and work towards a final performance.
GLOWLANDS – Movement & Projection Workshop
Facilitator: FLING
Location: Bega
Dates: 12 – 13 April
Experience the magic of movement and projection with FLING’s innovative workshop, where light, dance, and technology come together to create a unique creative experience.
BBT Film Foundations – Short Film Making
Facilitator: BBT
Location: Moruya
Dates: 21 – 24 April Aspiring filmmakers can learn the fundamentals of short film production, from scriptwriting to shooting and editing, in this immersive workshop.
BTP Keeping it Real – Believable Acting
Facilitator: Bay Theatre Players
Location: Sunshine Bay
Dates: 26 – 27 April
Join Bay Theatre Players in this practical workshop focused on creating authentic, believable performances through acting techniques and exercises.
How to Register
If you’re aged 12 – 17 and live in the Eurobodalla or Bega Valley, Kindred Kollective invites you to express your interest in the upcoming workshops. Participants can sign up for one or more workshops. Spots are limited so please register early so you don’t miss out.
