We deliver practical, engaging and industry-focused training to individuals, businesses and organisations throughout the Bega Valley, Far South Coast, Snowy Monaro and surrounding regions. Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Workplace Safety Trainer & Assessor to join our team on a casual or contract basis. We’re looking for someone with genuine industry experience who can bring their knowledge and personality into the classroom while delivering professional, practical and engaging training. ⭐️ The Role You will deliver nationally recognised workplace safety training from our Bega training facility and at client workplaces across the region. Depending on your qualifications, experience and areas of competency, training may include: ➡️ Working Safely at Heights ➡️ Confined Space Entry ➡️ Gas Test Atmospheres ➡️ Breathing Apparatus ➡️ White Card ➡️ Elevated Work Platform ➡️ Forklift ➡️ Traffic Control ➡️ Fire Warden & Fire Safety ➡️ Electrical Safety / Low Voltage Rescue ➡️ Emergency Response ➡️ First Aid ➡️ Silica and Asbestos Awarness ➡️ Health and Safety Rep Trainers and assessor with skills in the following Civil Plant & Machinery will be highly regarded: ➡️ Excavator ➡️ backhoe ➡️ Skid Steer ➡️ Bull Dozer ➡️ Grader ➡️ Roller ➡️ Water cart / dump truck ➡️ loader / compactor ➡️ 4wd operations ➡️ ATV / Side by side / tractor ➡️ Civil Construction Skills ➡️ Tellihandler ➡️ Dogging / Rigging ➡️ Crane Operations You do not need to be qualified across all areas, and we will provide extensive opportunities for the right person to upskill. We are interested in trainers with experience and competency across one or more workplace safety disciplines, but more importantly we want trainer with the right approach to achieving client learning outcomes. ⭐️ Key Responsibilities ✅ Maintain accurate documentation ✅ Maintain industry knowledge and competency ✅ Conduct training at our facility or client sites ✅ Travel within the region as required ✅ Deliver engaging, practical and industry-relevant training and assessment ✅ Provide learners with practical, real-world knowledge and skills ✅ Ensure training and assessment meets RTO, regulatory and industry requirements ⭐️ Applicants should have: ✅ TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or an accepted equivalent ✅ Relevant workplace safety qualifications and units of competency ✅ Demonstrated industry experience and vocational currency ✅ Strong communication and presentation skills ✅ A practical, hands-on approach to training ✅ Ability to engage with learners from a wide range of industries and backgrounds ✅ Willingness to travel to client sites when required Experience delivering nationally recognised training is highly regarded. ⭐️ What We Offer ✅ $50-60per hour + superannuation – Casual ✅ $70per hour – Contract. ✅ Casual or contract arrangements available ✅ Flexible training opportunities ✅ Purpose-built training facility in Bega ✅ Modern training equipment and resources ✅ Administrative support ✅ Opportunities to deliver a diverse range of courses ✅ Further professional development and upskilling opportunities ✅ A locally based role with a growing regional training provider ✅ All Equipment, Materials and Uniform provided. ✅ Travel paid or vehicle provided. ✅ Professional development and mentoring provided.
