Cooma has won the first game to be played in the new Group 16 Women’s Tackle Competition.
The girls from the Snowy Mountains defeated Tathra 28-18.
The 9-a-side comp will feature five clubs.

Meantime……Tathra is off to a flying start in the Group 16 Ladies League Tag Competition.
The She Eagles comprehensively beat Cooma 48-8.
Captain Taia Creary scored three tries in the victory.
In other results…Eden beat the Bega Chicks 18-12 and Narooma over Moruya 16-12.
