This permanent full‑time position is part of the Major Projects team, based at Council’s Moruya Depot, with work required at various locations across the Shire. The successful candidate will be responsible for the competent operation of mobile plant and attachments, and for supporting the Works Supervisor and Assistant Works Supervisors to ensure projects and activities are completed safely and efficiently. The starting salary for this position is $2,464.60 per fortnight plus 12% superannuation. Skills Required
You’re a capable plant operator who works safely, communicates well, and contributes positively to a hardworking team. You bring practical experience in construction or maintenance and are ready to support quality project outcomes. You will bring: Experience operating plant such as trucks, rollers, loaders, tractors and small plant. Construction or maintenance work experience. Understanding of plant capabilities, safe operation and defect reporting. Willingness and ability to carry out physical labouring tasks. Strong teamwork, communication, literacy and numeracy skills. Certificate III qualification or willingness to complete one. Willingness to undertake further training.
