A case against a woman accused of making a false report to police has been adjourned so the court system can work out the best location for the matter to be heard.

Nicole Gray is charged with one count of making a false representation resulting in a police investigation.

Magistrate Doug Dick has told Batemans Bay Local Court he is unable to hear the matter himself because he knows the accused.

When he suggested moving the case to Queanbeyan…Gray’s lawyer told the court his client was also familiar to the magistrate up there.

A offline discussion was going to be held to see if the matter can be heard at Milton Local Court.
