Reporting to the CEO, the Team Leader is responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership across Supported Independent Living (SIL) services and high-intensity support programs. This role ensures the delivery of safe, high-quality, and person-centred supports in alignment with NDIS standards and organisational policies. Located in Merimbula, this position provides a perfect balance of career and lifestyle opportunities with excellent working conditions including a 4-day working week (34 hours) and 24 days annual leave. Skills Required
The ideal candidate will have: • Experience working with people with disability. • Knowledge of disability-related laws and regulations. • Demonstrated awareness and understanding of issues confronting people with disabilities in a home or community setting. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Proven ability to lead and motivate operational teams and to manage and resolve conflict in a constructive, timely, and respectful manner. • Demonstrated experience in the implementation of behavioural support strategies and allied health support plans • Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards. • Demonstrated experience with trauma-informed care and person-centred practice. • Computer literacy.
