Return to the Pittsburgh Trauma Ward for what will sure be a high stress weekend!
HBO Max’s Emmy award winning Goliath original series,The Pitt, returns for its second season early 2026. The series offered a fresh take on hospital dramas by setting the series in a trauma ward, and then by setting an entire 15-episode series in a single 15 hour shift. The show received praise from critics and hospital experts alike for its accuracy and its incredible writing. The show was so well received that it would go on to win Outstanding Drama Series at the Emmy’s, as well as, Best Lead Actor (Noah Wyle) and Best Supporting Actress (Katherine LaNasa) in a drama series.
The show completed its first season early in 2025 and has already announced and finished filming its second season. Season 2 is set to debut January 8 of 2026 and you can catch the first look trailer below.
Season 2 is set to see the return of all our beloved favourite medical practitioners on another single shift series. This time though the shift takes place on the 4th of July, a notoriously stressful day for the American medical system.
