A popular organic beef mince sold across Australia is being recalled due to a potential health risk.

Auspork Australia Pty Ltd is recalling its Free Country Organic Beef Mince 500g because of plastic contamination.

The product was sold at IGA and independent food retailers in NSW, QLD, VIC, TAS, SA, and NT, as well as at Supabarn in the ACT.

Products marked with a ‘Best Before 28 September 2025‘ date should not be consumed.

Eating the affected product could cause illness or injury, according to the regulator.

If you have purchased this product, do not consume it. Return it to the store for a full refund.
