The Roosters will be without captain Ryan Apps tomorrow for their clash against the Eden Tigers.

The Bega Roosters are without captain Ryan Apps for tomorrow's Group 16, round 2 clash against the Eden Tigers at Eden.

Mid-fielder Apps is nursing an elbow injury from training and will miss the game, but expects to be back on the field after the Easter break.

It will be the first home game for the Eden Tigers this season. The ladies league tag starts at 1.30pm; Reserves kick off at 2.30pm. First grade starts at 4pm. All games are at the George Brown Memorial Oval.

The Tigers have just returned to first grade side after a break last season.

Group 16 boss Allan Wilton says many a great grand-final has been held between the Tigers and the Roosters in recent years, and says the club will be looking for support from the community as they take on the tough Roosters, who were minor premiers and runners-up in the comp last year.

Last week in the local derby at Bega the Roosters scored in the last minute of the game to defeat rivals the Tathra Sea Eagles 22 points to 20. The Eden Tigers went down to Moruya Sharks 16 points to 32.
