53 ladies hit the course at Club Catalina, 34 at Narooma


A good day at Catalina and Narooma yesterday for the golfers. 

At Club Catalina yesterday  53 ladies played in the Stroke and Putting Monthly Medal event. While at Narooma 34 golfers played a Stableford. Read on for results. 

A Grade at Catalina. 

First net: Eileen Davis (handicap 22) 74 points; Second net: Debbie Coleman (handicap 16) 74 points

First gross: Olivia Wilson (handicap 0) 79 points

Putting: Jo Taylor 29 putts

Nearest the pin: Helen Neave

B Grade

First net: Sue Demamiel (handicap 29) 73 points; Second net: Dorothy Partridge (handicap 30) 75 points

First gross: Jemma Rogan (handicap 23) 101 points

Putting: Lyn Barnes 26 putts

C Grade

First net: Nanette Childs (handicap 36) 74 points; Second net: Kelly Rogan (handicap 42) 77 points

Putting: Elaine Dawson 28 putts

Nearest the pin: Julie Gerkin

The ball competition went to 79 points.


Meanwhile 34 golfers played a Stableford competition at Narooma on Wednesday.  The winner of division 1 was Kath Roberts with 34 points, from runner-up Tina Wilson with 33 points.  

The winner of division 2 was Marion Brooks with 31 points ocb from Janice Eardley with 31 points.

The nearest the pin winners were Julie Whyte on 3rd Hole in division 2 and Trace Mitchell on 17th hole in division 1.

Balls went to 29 ocb.
