Braidwood scored its first win of the season in front of a good home crowd against Crookwell on Saturday.

In South Coast Monaro Rugby Union on Saturday Braidwood Redbacks had a great result over Crookwell Dogs, in front of a good home crowd. It was the team's first win of the season, and they scored two tries to Crookwell's three penalties, to win 12 points to 9.

The fortune of the Batemans Bay Boars was not so good, with a second-half lapse of concentration in defense proving costly against the tough Jindabyne Bushpigs. The Boars were 5 points to 0 up at half-time, however the final score was 28 points to 12, to the Bushpigs.

Broulee Dolphins struggled for players on Saturday and were unable to trouble the visitors, Bungendore Mudchooks, who kept Broulee scoreless with the final-time score 20 points to nil. In the final game of the round last year's season's premiers, the Taralga Tigers, 31 beat Yass Rams, 14.
