Christopher Rowe winds first Tuross medley stableford round for 2021

Tuross Head golfer Christopher Rowe, playing off a very low handicap, was the winner of the men’s first Saturday medley stableford  round for 2021 with a score of 37 points.

Frank Pomfret and Paul Pereira also returned cards of 37 points but were relegated to the minor placings on a countback. Steve Jones and John Eglitis, both with scores of 36 points, were awarded the remaining vouchers. Nearest the pins were won by Christopher Rowe on the 4th hole. Graeme Bell won the 6th and Scott Kildey was closest on the 7th hole.

Thursday’s medley stableford round was won by John Nikolic with 37 points, ahead of Ian McManus 36 points, Stephen Swanbury and Rex Wood both scored 35 points and Michael Nordsvan joined the award list with 34 points. Nearest the pins were won by Michael Nordsvan on the 4th hole and Brad Doolan was closest on both the 6th and the 7th holes.
