NSW Health has released its latest statistics for the southern region regarding the spread of infection of coronavirus in the community.

The Bega Valley Shire has gone from two to three cases confirmed, while Eurobodalla has moved from one to two cases.

NSW Health has committed to releasing statistics every day at about 10am.

Unlike the statistics received on Sunday, the latest information does not include what suburb, village or town the person infected is in, their age, sex, or condition.

At a press conference this morning NSW chief health officer, Kerry Chant, said there are now 808 cases confirmed in NSW, with 13 people in intensive care.

The NSW Health website however does not reflect these latest statistics. Its website, which has been updated this morning, says there are 669 cases.

The Premier Gladys Berejiklian says the state is at a critical point in the spread of the virus, and penalties will apply for those not complying with orders.
