On-demand bus service rolls out to Merimbula and Bega areas

Sapphire Coast Buslines has launched two new on-demand door to door bus services for the Far South Coast - and have two new buses on the road. 

The buses are booked and paid for online via an app called Flexibus, if the bus is on a regular run cash can be used. The app will be available from tomorrow (Saturday). The website is flexibus.com.au

Emma Britton and Chris Sparks from Kalaru on the bus, which is wheelchair friendly. 

The services rolling out from tomorrow in are in the Merimbula, Tura Beach and Pambula area and the Bega area, and are an extension of the on-demand services in Candelo and Eden. The service is a trial in partnership with Transport NSW. 

Sapphire Coast Buslines managing director, Jamie Clemm, says the company was thrilled to win the tender.
