A meet the candidates forum for young people will be held at Moruya on Thursday.
The spokesperson for the Member for Bega Andrew Constance has confirmed the Minister will attend a NSW election candidates forum in Moruya on Thursday.
The forum will be hosted by the group Youth Action and is for young people and youth advocates.
The group says young people aged between 12 and 25, from Eden to Batemans Bay, will be at the forum, which will be held from 1pm to 2pm at the Moruya Golf Club.
Youth Action said in a press statement issued yesterday afternoon that while Labor candidate Leanne Atkinson and Greens candidate Will Douglas had confirmed their attendance, the Member for Bega and Transport and Infrastructure Minister, Andrew Constance, had declined to attend.
East Coast Radio contacted Mr Constance's office regarding his attendance earlier today and has received a reply saying Mr Constance has juggled committments so he can attend, and only recently received confirmation of the date it would be held on.
The NSW election will be held on the 23rd of March. Voting is compulsory.
