Temporary reprieve from hot weather for South Coast

The BOM says the next three months will be warmer than average.

The Bureau of Meteorology says the South Coast can expect hotter than average temperatures over the next three months. The Bureau of Meteorology says the South Coast can expect hotter than average temperatures over the next three months. 

Data on the last three months will be released by the Bureau tomorrow, and there's an expectation January will  be the hottest on record. 

Meteorologist Rebecca Farr says however there will be a short reprieve from the hot days and nights with a southerly expected to arrive this afternoon, and another change to bring lower temperatures early next week.
