A number of residents around Pambula have been complaining online about recent power outages.
On Sunday, November 14, approximately 150 customers in Pambula were affected by a planned power outage.
Multiple Essential energy crews were brought in to replace high-voltage power poles and crossarms near Mount Darrah road in Pambula, however locals were reporting more outages last weekend.
Essential Energy released a statement saying the company’s priority is to provide a safe and reliable electricity supply to all customers, however, from time-to-time, interruptions to the supply to households and businesses needs to be undertaken, to allow maintenance and upgrade works to be completed.
Planned outages are also scheduled for parts of Nelligen today (November 23), and Broulee tomorrow, while towards the end of this week, further network maintenance is scheduled for parts of Surf Beach and Batehaven to ensure the ongoing safety of the local network.
